Waunarlwydd U13s 7 V S.Gower U13s 26

A veritable mud bath did little to improve the looks of the Waun forwards (or backs for that matter!!), but id did provide the opportunity for the home sde to score their first try of the season!  It came by way of continuos pick and go movements, with  hooker and eventual SEREN y GÊM, MARLEY BUSHELL powering over near the posts!

This was a fitting achievement for the home side, who have battled hard over the weeks, despite scores which in no way reflect the effort that has been given time after time!

In truth, so many of the Waun side could have been awarded the SEREN y GÊM award, such was the improvement that was so evident in this performance! Commitment, technical improvement and down right determination were all evident and this left the coaches and parents delighted with the team`s performance.Number 8 Max Evans delivered his best performance of the season, centres Ben Stead and Jack Ryan also impressed!  Openside Tyler Logan played a great game as did half backs Sol Richardson and Ciaran Gratix. Tighthead prop and captain, Morgan Gleed produced a great scrummaging performance, with locks Ben Williams and Jack Phipps ever present at the breakdown!  Despite suffering from the extremely cold weather conditions, wing Jahmal Robbins once again produced a credible performance!

South Gower proved to be extremely sporting opponents and produced a performance that their club should be proud of!

All in all a great performance!!  Keep it uplads as we go on too our next game v Y Faedre.

CREDU! WM! UPAWAUN!
